Politics, like death, is unavoidable

Ceaseless praise is merited by Haile Selassie I through his humane civility, political integrity and leadership in international morality and collective security.

Greetings my family.

It has been a long time practice of Ras Tafari ones to avoid discussing issues which are sensitive and pertinent. We conveniently avoid issues for which we have no appropriate position and policy due to lack of proper iverstanding of the subject matter. Politics, like death, is unavoidable.

I remember a time when the words dead and death were offensive to most Ras Tafarians, to the extent that no proper policy and system were developed to address this natural reality. The unavoidability of death was not acknowledged by most traditionalist Ras Tafarians until the frequent decease of outstanding elders. Due to our prevailing ignorance, fear and denial we are yet to develop a proper collective response to the issue.

Politics is politics by whatever other word it is called. Ignore it or engage it, politics remains a constant in our life time. Like death, politics is a natural compulsion. Human beings have to be governed and served from birth to death. Let’s face the facts. Law and order are fundamental to all existence. This is metaphysical, biblical and historical. Individuals live by bio-genetic and psycho-social laws. Societies have problems when societal laws are oppressive or when laws are disobeyed.

Ras Tafari entities, like all others within societies are subjects of the national laws, despite how liberated one may feel within oneself. The challenge to Ras Tafarians is to dialogue and decide on appropriate ways and means to collectively influence the formation and administration of societal laws. Ras Tafarians best interest can be served only when we constitute national governments or are a vital component of national governments.

As dialectic is the process of logical reasoning, the Ras Tafari dialectic must be encouraged, empowered and protected. It is only through the Ras Tafari dialectic that we will be liberated from mental slavery. This will afford us the iverstanding to take the necessary organized actions to liberate ourselves and people from political and economic slavery.

Never forget that Babylon will always misrepresent the good as bad and corrupt the clean so as to have greater manipulation over such matters. Let us not decide based on the false and corrupt representation of Babylon . We must decide based on our realities and needs. Be not turned off by the abuse of the great gift of politics by Babylon . Let us endeavor to iverstand and ipprecilove the substance of the gift of politics. My very distinguished brother, Ras Touzah , elder of Solidarity Organization in St. Martin shared the enlightenment with I that Rasta have the blessing to rule nations but we must be prepared to exercise tolerance considering the diversities of societies. This truth I recommend to all of us.

Haile Selassie I invites everyone to actively and constructively participate in the political process in materializing the political destiny of humanity. Ras Tafari collectively assert our selves in the political energy of international morality, in contributing to the conquest of good over evil.

Equal rights and justice are political dictates. We must become cognizant of the political awareness, political responsibility, political organization and political agitation involved in materializing world citizenship, rule of international morality and lasting peace.

I pray and trust that all of us will grow to iverstand and be prepared to positively relate to the indispensible truth that, politics, like death, is unavoidable.

Politics: InI final frontier of conquest.

Let InI esteem and emulate the conquering lion of Judah , Emperor Haile Selassie I, The greatest political personality of all history. Bless be Empress Mennen I who adorn history with distinguished social hospitalities.

Blessed love my family. Having listened to the recorded tele-confrence of Ras Tafarians on April 28- 2008 which was moderated by Ras Aziz, I am further convinced that InI need to deliberately address InI prominent political ignorance and negligence.This grim reality have motivated I to remind InI that politics is InI final frontier of conquest.

Politics speaks to the science, principles and quality of governance, individually and collectively. It is most important that Ras Tafarians iverstand and acknowledge that InI godhead is a ivine political personality who have set the example of moral politics, both administratively and philosophically. InI failure to identify and pursue a political goal is failure to participate in the mission and advocacy of Haile Selassie I.

Ras Tafarians have fulljoyed permanent conquest in the fields of religion, creative arts and food and nutrition etc. Now is the time for InI to mobilize InI creative energies to materialize InI collective political and economic strategic approaches. It is utter stupidity for any person or groups to adopt and declare a position of non-political while living in an organized political environment. As subjects of national political authorities, InI are directly affected by political legislations, policies and maneuvers and must develop organized political responses. Until InI deliberately influence national political laws, policies and administrations and thereby influencing the international political setup, InI will be adjudged politically negligent and irresponsible.

Again, InI must iverstand InI history and foundational concepts. Ras Tafari was founded in the supreme interest of African liberation and human moral restoration. In Jamaica , Ras Tafari exist as the authentic indigenous governmental alternative to the evil-centric oppressive governmental system of Babylon . The question that confronts InI now, is whether or not InI are going to continue to be the political subjects of Babylon or InI are going to assert InI own political sovereignty? This question confirms that politics is the final frontier of InI conquest.

Man And Woman Are Interdependent

Glory and honor to the ivine intelligence, manifesting the luminous monarch Haile Selassie I. Glory to ivine faithfulness, manifesting the adorable monarch Empress Mennen I. Glory to InI ancestors' continuity, joyfully manifesting InI.

The aggressive agitation of the belief of the superiority of man over woman by a younger Rastafari brother recently, have greatly prompted this declaration that man and woman are interdependent.

I have been long aware that misconceptions are the foundation of social disharmony. I am confident that honest and sober analytic intellectual examination of issues will reveal resolutions.

Blessed I, it is incumbent upon InI to evolve human consciousness to the harmonious heights of mutual glorification. As a social commune, Rastafari like Babylon will not fulljoy social bliss as long as mutual glorification is absent between man and woman. There is no clause of superiority in the reality of interdependency. The reality that man and woman are dependent on each other for the existence and continuity of their distinctive selves, denounces and erases all questions of superiority. Man and Woman are complimentary forms of the same substances.

There must be a common iverstanding and ipreciation of certain basic realities by the family of Rastafari. Despite what is written and inherited as ongoing beliefs and traditions, if they are not endorsed by the iration, InI should not embrace them as the iration is InI foundation.

InI man must remove the stigma and sentiment of being unclean from InI sisters when they are menstruating as it is a biologically natural and personal affair which man cannot accomplish for woman. It is evidence of her reproductive possibility, and evidence of non-pregnancy. Man must never forget that he was reproduced and nurtured of woman's blood. Man is the bone of woman's bones, flesh of her flesh and blood of her blood.

To those brothers who advocate that man was created and afterwards woman was surgically extracted from him or was somehow created from one of his ribs, I suggest the in depth consideration of the irits of iternal co-existence. According to the Bible, when God said "come let us make man in our own image," sounds to I like a matured sexually aroused brother inviting the cooperation of a matured sexually aroused sister to engage in ivine reproductive copulation. It is outright stupid or self-deceiving not to exalt the glory that is, while demanding the acceptance of imaginary fantasies. Eternity has no beginning.

Ras Tafari ingels must evolve from the darkness of inherited misconceptions which have served to embitter the relationship between man and woman. Misconception in practice ensures the horrors of oppression, discrimination and unfulfilled social harmony. Ras Tafari is the light of conductual integrity emanating from the conscious practice of the awareness and ipreciation of the natural laws of human oneness, equal rights and justice. By all measures of consciousness and natural reality, man and woman are interdependent. InI cannot deny the truth that Rastafari philosophy, has been strongly influenced negatively by the patriarchal construct of the Bible. Despite the glory of the overwhelming massage of the Bible, its patriarchal costumes are most condemnable and should not be exalted by InI the naturalists.

Because InI are the vanguard of truth and right, equality and justice, love and unity, InI must ensure that InI are not upholding traditions which contradict InI stated fundamentals. InI must ensure that InI are not upholding aspects of Babylon downpressions within InI community. If a man locks is glory on his head, why more man think that a woman locks is a curse and shame not to be exalted? InI need to straighten out and strengthen InI livity. It is all in InI mind.

Let the conduct of InI self, the words of InI mouth and the meditation of InI thoughts be acceptable in sight of Jah and all ones.
