Jah Storm Hurricane Tomas in St Lucia Blessed Love Rastafari;  I an I dat trusteth in de most high Qadamawi Haile Selassie shall be like Mt. Yes I, I an I giving nuff thanks to Qadamawi Haile Selassie for being a shelter in de time of storm unto I an I family and other loved ones during the passage of hurricane Tomas. I an I home was well protected, praise Jah Rastafari. I an I only lost some fruit trees in de yard as well as some vegetables that were planted. This is nothing compared to what other ones have gone thru, or lost, Jah Rastafari lives. On the tabernacle grounds, the male quarters lost its roof when a dreadnut tree fell on it, the tabernacle was shaken by strong winds and heavy rains which has left it slanting at an angle, this calls for immediate repairs as it can be dangerous to keep ises in there in them conditions. Soufriere/Fond St Jacques area has been declared a disaster zone and residents are being relocated due to the risk the area now possesses. This area is an area populated by plenty Rastafari families and plenty of them have been affected and are now in shelters.  CRO in conjunction with ICAR Inc is spearheading a relief and recovery program with our members in that area as well as other families who were affected by the storm. Our immediate requirements are: WATER, CLOTHINGS, FOOD and SHELTER (tents will do for now). Agricultural inputs eg seeds and other products are also very important.  In terms of means of transporting these, there are agencies like NEMO, RED CROSS, GOVTs and other groups who would be sending donations to St.Lucia and providing transportation.  With a well identified and labeled package, barrel, container or box addressed to;  Caribbean Rastafari Organisation, c/o P.O.Box 462, Vieux-Fort P.O. In the case where case donations are to be made, they can be sent to : Burnet Sealy c/o the above address to western union in Vieux-Fort. I also intend to access the account of ICAR Inc with the consent of the executive of ICAR first, where funds can be deposited in there. This info will be forth comming in a subsequent mail. Received from Yasus Afari Uncertain future for Fairfield House The following is a release of the Bath City Council relating to the questionable future of The Fairfield House in Bath: BANES STATEMENT The House was donated to Bath Corporation by the Emperor Haile Selassie , in recognition of the friendship shown to the emperor during his time in exile in Bath. There was a wish that it could be used as a home for elderly persons. The house was used for this purpose until the 1990s when the requirements for increased room sizes for care homes meant that the premises were unsuitable to continue with this use. THEOCRACY REIGN IVINE ORDER OF THE NYAH BINGHI TRIBUTE TO ANCIENT BONGO ROCKY  by Ras Flako on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 8:50pm Greetings Royal Rastafari family We have been inexpressibly saddened and shocked by the transition of our beloved eight one year old Patriarch, Nyah Binghi Priest, States man, Ambassador Pioneer and Councilor, Ancient Bongo Rocky, at the Shashamanie Tabernacle in Ethiopia on Wednesday 15TH Sept 2010 .Once again, death has stretched out its hand to snatched from our midst a corner stone of the Nyah Binghi Order. To his family Mama Baby I, Bongo Rupert (Rupie) and those of his friends, we extend our deepest condolences. As we mourn his passing we hope that his transition will inspire us all to redouble our efforts to ensure the continued effectiveness of the Nyah Binghi Order, Rastafari Sustainable Development, Collective Security and the fulfillment of the Nyah Binghi Creed. Incient Bongo Rocky had repatriated to Ethiopia a decade ago with his Iloved Queen Baby I, since then he has served with distinction as Elder Statesman and Ambassador of the Rastafari Nation. He has headed delegations and meetings with Heads of State, politicians, AU representatives, as well as local and regional dignitaries on behalf of the Shashamanie community and the Nation of Rastafari. 'Bongo Rock', as he was fondly called was an inspiration to all those came before his presence , many were blessed by his word sound in cyberspace ,he set the example for Reparation with strong determination and was the focal point for to visitors to the Shashamanie Tabernacle The wonderful works of the Ancient was manifested on the Shashamanie Nyah Binghi grounds whereby he used his small funds to decorate the place making it show piece to behold, Incient Congo Rock was unrepentant and declared the divinity of Qadamawi Haile Selassie without apology, his global appeal was for mass repatriation to Africa and the continuous struggle for African liberation and redemption from Neo-colonialism Congo Rocky had multiple ailments and had being been suffering for some time and had lost considerable amount of weight.
