Accompanied by a killer band of outstanding reggae musicians, the cast performs all the classic songs from the film soundtrack, including “By The Rivers of Babylon,” the title song, and the unforgettable global phenomenon, “You Can Get It If You Really Want.”

Psychadelic Furs - The Psychedelic Furs came together in
England's emerging punk scene in 1977, where they were initially called "RKO," then "Radio." They then vacillated between calling themselves "The Europeans" and "The Psychedelic Furs," playing gigs under both names before permanently settling on the latter. The band initially consisted of Richard Butler (vocals), Tim Butler (bass guitar), Duncan Kilburn (saxophone), Paul Wilson (drums) and Roger Morris (guitars). By 1979, this line up had expanded to a sextet with Vince Ely replacing Wilson on drums and John Ashton being added on guitar. Revolution Live

ZAKIR HUSSAIN - BELA FLECK - EDGAR MEYER - Three masterful genre-benders and the leading virtuosos on their respective instruments, Béla Fleck, Zakir Hussain and Edgar Meyer move with ease among the worlds of classical, bluegrass and world music. Three of the most limitless creators and composers in the history of music, Fleck, Hussain and Meyer share an unprecedented array of projects and pairings among them that touch every geographical and stylistic corner of the musical world. The trio will also release a recording in Fall 2009 featuring music performed on the tour alongside their innovative Triple Concerto for Banjo, Tabla and Double Bass.

BÉLA FLECK has been called the premiere banjo player in the world and has virtually reinvented the image and the sound of the banjo through a remarkable performing and recording career that has taken him all over the musical map. At home equally in the great classical halls and concert arenas of the world, Béla has won eight Grammy Awards and has been nominated in more different categories than anyone in Grammy history.

ZAKIR HUSSAIN is today appreciated both in the field of percussion and in the music world at large as an international phenomenon. A classical tabla virtuoso of the highest order, his consistently brilliant and exciting performances have not only established him as a national treasure in his own country, India, but earned him worldwide fame. Widely considered a chief architect of the contemporary world music movement, Zakir's contribution to world music has been unique, with many historic collaborations.

EDGAR MEYER is prominently established as a unique and masterful instrumentalist and has an active career as both a performer and a composer. Hailed by the New Yorker as "...the most remarkable virtuoso in the relatively unchronicled history of his instrument," Mr. Meyer's unparalleled technique and musicianship in combination with his gift for composition have brought him to the fore, where he is appreciated by a vast, varied audience. His uniqueness in the field was recognized by a MacArthur Award in 2002.

GAL COSTA -  Gal Costa is an archetype of the Brazilian diva.  She will perform in an elegantly spare concert that showcases the immense beauty of the classic Brazilian songs and her lovely voice.  She sings a duo concert with her guitarist, Romero Lubambo, one of the most celebrated Brazilian jazz musicians today.
Gal Costa was one of the original Quatro Baianos (Four Baianos), along with Caetano Veloso, Maria Bethania and Gilberto Gil.  They style the created, tropicalia was at the center of a revolution in Brazil that encompassed all aspects of art, music and culture – a unique fusion of classic Brazilian elements with the energy of psychedelia and US pop.  Now Gal Costa has turned her vocal talents to an exploration of Brazilian jazz and the best elements of classic Brazilian compositions.  Her more recent performances have been set in a cabaret style.  In guitarist Romero Lubambo, she has found an ideal musical partner, one of most respects instrumentalists today.
